🧥 Adrien’s Suit

🟦 Chapter 1 – The Perfect Frame

Adrien, 42, always wore a flawless suit.
Tight tie, polished shoes, steady gaze.
Marketing director in a large Parisian firm—he was “reliable,” “professional,” “solid.”

But no one saw him staring at the white wall in his apartment every evening.
No music. No emotion. Just… empty.

🟦 Chapter 2 – The Crack

One Monday, during a meeting, an intern gives an awkward presentation.
Adrien says nothing. But later, a colleague jokes:

“You looked like you swallowed an ice cube. You didn’t smile once.”

Adrien forces a polite grin.
But inside, he thinks:

“I don’t even remember what I look like when I smile.”

🟦 Chapter 3 – The Email

That night, he writes an email.
Not about a campaign.
Not to schedule a meeting.
Just this:

“I realize I no longer know who I am outside of work.
I’m tired of pretending to be always confident and composed.
I’m not less capable. But I’m human. And I wish we could talk about that too—here.”

He hesitates. Then clicks “Send.”

🟦 Chapter 4 – The Replies

He fears awkward silence.

But replies pour in.

One quiet coworker writes:

“Thanks for saying what I’ve felt for years.”

Another adds:

“Your message gave me the courage to take off my own mask.”

🟦 Chapter 5 – The Real Suit

Since that day, Adrien doesn’t wear a tie on Mondays.
He says hello with heart, not posture.
He dares to say: “I don’t know,” when he doesn’t.

And now… he feels more respected.
Not for what he projects.
But for what he’s no longer afraid to reveal.

💡 Moral

We often think being professional means being detached.
But sometimes, it’s when we show up as our real selves… that we lead best.
